Treating Mental Health in Children & Teens
Asking for help is the first step toward helping your child do and feel better.
The children's mental health program at Sanford Health supports the social, physical, intellectual, emotional and developmental growth of children from birth to adulthood.
Mental health disorders can interfere with normal development and functioning. Common disorders we treat:
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Eating disorders
Sanford's Child & Adolescent Psychiatry & Psychology includes experienced psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists and psychiatric nurses.
Family involvement is important. We will work with you, your child, your child's teachers and primary care physicians to improve their everyday functioning and long-term quality of life.
