A Pediatrician & Medical Community Leader
Dr. Benson Hsu practices pediatric intensive care, specializing in pediatric outpatient sedation. He treats any life-threatening medical or post-surgical conditions in children from newborns to adolescents, as well as pediatric outpatient sedation.
He serves as vice president of Population Health at Sanford Health; associate professor of pediatrics at the University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine; executive committee member, Section on Critical Care (SOCC), American Academy of Pediatrics; member of the Committee on Hospital Medicine (COHC), American Academy of Pediatrics; and member of the Methods and Data Leadership Council, AcademyHealth.
Dr. Hsu previously held medical director leadership positions for the pediatric flight program (2013-2018) and pediatric outpatient sedation program (2012-2013) and served as the vice president of Enterprise Data and Analytics at Sanford Health (2015-2017).
